Topic: Creating Culture by Design not Default

Strong workplace culture is critical to increasing retention, quality of work, and employee Net Promoter Scores (eNPS), and yet very few organizations are intentional about their culture design. If you are not careful and intentional, your culture will create itself. Lack of performance management or complete absence of explicit working agreements is what creates toxicity, high turnover, and HR complaints that often lead to investigations.

Design doesn't mean you control culture but intentionally creating the right conditions for people to do their best work which includes skills and competencies, processes and procedures, leadership, and employee buy-in.

In this session, Anya will guide you through the process they use at Culture Crafters of creating a culture by design where you will:

• Review problematic areas in your current culture "fixing" which creates the most impact
• Learn how to bring your values to life and not just have them on the poster or website
• Enroll all employees in co-creating your culture by design and secure their buy-in
